Operator workspace on top of Housecall Pro
Your operator works in six windows. Your leads fall between them.
Housecall Pro, Yelp, Thumbtack, RingCentral, email, Slack. The lead lives in one tab, the reply in another, the promise to call back in someone's head. Data Tower rides along with your operator on every page and walks each lead to one of three places: the calendar, a reminder, or a written-down reason why not.
Built for electrical, plumbing and HVAC shops running 5–20 people on Housecall Pro.
The problem
Your bookings depend on one person with no workspace.
Whether the crews are busy next week is decided by whoever answers the leads. Nothing carries between the windows, nothing is written down, so every evening you check by hand.
One workplace
Every lead, from every source, to one of three outcomes.
A capsule on every tab: the lead, its history and the next action, right where the operator already is. Each lead is closed with one of three moves.
On the calendar
The job or estimate is booked in Housecall Pro and stays traced back to the lead and its source.
On a reminder
Customer asked to call back, estimate is waiting. The reminder stays in the queue, sorted by days of silence, until someone decides its fate.
Turned down, with a reason
Out of area, duplicate, not our trade. The reason is recorded, so a rejected lead is a decision, not a lost one.
Shifts hand off in writing
The next operator reads what was promised, what is still open, what happened while nobody was on.
Tomorrow is checked tonight
Missing details, overlapping visits, drives the crew cannot make: caught while there is still time to call.

Plus manual entry for walk-ins and referrals. A new source is a parser, not a project. Every number on this page comes from Voltyx Services, an electrical, plumbing and HVAC contractor in Fremont, CA, where Data Tower runs every shift.
Numbers
Hard numbers, today, with nobody adding them up.
Every action is written down the moment it happens, so a report is just a read of the log.
Per operator
Leads taken, turned down, moved to the calendar, and how fast.
Per source
What each channel produced in booked work, with the first touch frozen so repeat jobs stop drifting.
Per day
Closing the shift writes the day's summary; nobody copies numbers between tabs.

Options · switched on by request
The same record can do three more jobs.
Once every lead and every outcome is written down, the log feeds three more things. Each is switched on per shop when you ask.
Lead scoring
Who is worth the discount, before the first call
- Does
- Checks the property address against public records and tags the lead high-value or ordinary.
- Gives
- Your best operator takes the big one; the first-job discount goes to the customer who comes back. In the shop studied, 3% of customers brought 45% of revenue.
- Needs
- The service address. Nothing else.
Revenue feedback to Google Ads
Bidding learns from invoices, not phone calls
- Does
- Sends booked and completed jobs back into Google Ads with the invoiced amount.
- Gives
- Smart Bidding stops treating a wrong number and a $12,400 install as the same conversion.
- Needs
- An invited role in your Ads account.
Project pages from finished jobs
Every closed job earns the next one
- Does
- Turns a closed job into a page for that city and that type of work, a Google profile update and a review request.
- Gives
- Organic traffic on your own domain; one weekly approval from the office.
- Needs
- Access to your website.
Integrations
Plugged into what the shop already runs.
Nothing new to type in. Data Tower reads what these systems already produce and writes back only where the operator asks it to.
-
H
Housecall Pro
Reads: customers, estimates, jobs, schedule, technicians and online bookings, live through webhooks and the API.
Used for: tracing every lead to the job it became, tomorrow's checks, estimate queues, conversion by source. Stays the system of record for jobs and money; Data Tower never writes invoices. -
R
RingCentral
Reads: every inbound and outbound call with its recording and transcript.
Used for: matching calls to leads and customers, a new-lead alert when an unknown number calls, click-to-call from the capsule under the operator's own extension. -
@
Lead-platform email
Reads: the notification emails Thumbtack, Yelp, Home Depot Pro Referral, Switch, ZipRent and your website form already send.
Used for: creating the lead within seconds, with source, name, phone, address and the deep link back to the platform. Nobody re-types a lead. -
T
Telegram
Writes: team alerts — new lead, lead claimed but idle, shift opened and closed, day summary, anything that needs an owner's eye.
Used for: the owner's phone, without opening a dashboard. -
C
Claude by Anthropic
Reads: call transcripts, receipts, the lead and job log — read-only, inside our own database.
Used for: classifying calls, reading receipts, proposing lead-to-job matches and investigating a shift whose numbers do not add up. Every result is a suggestion the operator confirms. -
M
Mapbox
Reads: job addresses.
Used for: geocoding and the evening check of tomorrow's drives between visits.
FAQ
What owners ask first.
Does anything change for my crews?
Nothing. The system reads what already happens: platform emails, calls and your CRM's own events. Technicians do not log in and do not learn a new app.
Are we leaving Housecall Pro?
No. Housecall Pro stays the system of record for jobs, invoices and money. Data Tower covers what it never sees: everything that happens before a job exists.
Our lead sources are a mess in the CRM. Does that break it?
Everyone's are. Untangling them is the first part of setup: we map your labels into one dictionary and freeze each customer's original source so it stops drifting as repeat jobs come in.
What does the operator have to install?
A browser extension, issued per operator from their own account. Nothing else.
